Because reading is such a critical skill needed to achieve success, Greenbrier Elementary is encouraging each student to read 20 minutes daily outside the school day. Beginning January 23, 2017, students will receive a Reading Log to document their daily reading. Once students have read 5 days and their card is signed by a parent or representative, students will turn their card in for a chance to win a small prize. As students turn in their completed cards, they will receive a new card. The more completed cards turned in, the better chance they will have to receive a prize. We are looking forward to celebrating with students as we implement this reading initiative.
