This is my 9th year as a teacher, 6th year as a first grade teacher. I graduated with my Master's in K-6 Education at Trevecca Nazarene University in 2012. I have taught other grades, but I absolutely love teaching first grade! 
I am originally from Searcy, Arkansas and moved here 11 years ago. I met my husband not long after I moved to Tennessee and we were married in March of 2014. We have a three  year old little boy, Wyatt, who is the light of our lives. 
I love to read books, watch movies, spend copious amounts of time with my family, go to the lake and beach, go hiking, and I love spending time with my church family. I am passionate about my job, not just the teaching part, but loving on my kiddos. I am just as involved in making them good people and feeling loved as I am teaching them academics.
